This season from on 18th, 19th and 20th January 15 Designers are going to present their current collections in the evenings on LAVERA SHOWFLOOR BERLIN´s catwalk.

Once again the main focus is on themes such as sustainability and exclusivity.
Likewise the last years the event will be public, so accessible for all visitors and free of charge.

KASKA HASS, JULIA STARP, GÖTTIN DES GLÜCKS, ISABELLE DE HILLERIN and CHRISTINE BIRKLE as outstanding and sustainable labels are going to realize a show at the LAVERA SHOWFLOOR. LARS WALLIN, designer of the Swedish royal family and ANDREA SCHELLING, both known as famous Coutiers, will also present their latest creations.

PIET STOCKMANS, honored worlwide through a couple of exhibitions, Flemish cultural ambassador and experimental artist is venturing to present his porcelain creations on Berlin´s catwalk, to create exciting and unforgettable images.
Shows from BITTE KAI RAND, THANH MINH, CATHERINE ANDRÉ, SIOK, NIX and XESS+BABA will be the initial and close connection to the Munich trade fair, throughout their summarised presentations.

For the first time a fashion awards ceremony is going to take place at the LAVERA SHOWFLOOR. It is the SLOW FASHION AWARD from Vienna, which awards international and sustainable fashion and textile design.

This season’s GREENshowroom will take place on January 18-20, 2012 at Hotel Adlon across from the Brandenburg Gate. Both up-and-coming and more established eco-fashion brands will be showcased once again in the relaxing atmosphere of Berlin’s premiere 5-star luxury hotel. Organic pioneers Stewart+Brown, who were recently named “Most Sustainable Brand” at the WGSN Awards, will attend for the first time alongside Berlin-based label Studio Ecocentric and jewelry brand Materia Prima. The highlight of the three-day fair will be Thursday’s Salonshow, where a range of select designer collections will be shown.

Urban zeitgeist, eco-fair lifestyle and innovative fashions – the ETHICAL FASHION SHOW BERLIN (18 to 20 January 2012) will be held for the first time within the framework of the Berlin Fashion Week as an independent trade fair for sustainable and ethically produced street fashions and casual wear in the ‘ewerk’. In addition to the fair, which is open to trade visitors only, Esmod,
the international art academy for fashion, will set up a shop – ‘CHANGING ROOM’ – offering all labels shown for sale to everyone interested, including members of the public. The ‘ewerk’ is a unique event location and will be the new focal point for sustainable and ethically produced fashions by bringing the activities of the ‘green’ sector together with international professionals in a business oriented and constructive atmosphere at the same time and place. The ETHICAL FASHION SHOW BERLIN will be held concurrently with the GREENshowroom in Hotel Adlon.

These two shows and other events of the Berlin Fashion Week will be linked by the official Mercedes-Benz shuttle service of the Berlin Fashion Week.

For the second time the trade show for fashion and accessories – in fashion berlin – is taking place during Berlin Fashion Week. It is offering an extraordinary show- and order-platform to progressive labels apart from mainstream. In the Radialsystem-V, Holzmarktstraße 33, international brands for fashion and accessories are showing their collections from 18th to 20th of January 2012. From high end fashion via individual progressives to young and edgy casualwear everything is represented. Furthermore sustainable brands will be shown in the context of GreenGlamour. Among the exhibitors at in fashion berlin are Julia Starp, Indies, Estomo, Nix Berlin, Xess & Baba, Thanh Minh, Bitte Kai Rand and Faustos.

In January 2012 a special highlight will be the cooperation with Lavera Showfloor. Additionally to the already familiar catwalks at night times, exhibitors of in fashion berlin will present their collections in fashion trend shows in the afternoon. The Energie-Forum-Berlin, in close vicinity to Radialsystem-V, will be the spectacular location of Lavera Showfloor. in fashion berlin especially turns to exclusive, specialized and upscale retailers. Shops that look for the exceptional apart from mainstream. For trade visitors the trade show is opened from 18th to 20th of January, 10 am to 7 pm.
